Spring Foraging Workshop | Friends of Johns Homestead Park

The Friends of Johns Homestead Park and Amanda Jewel Floral + Design have collaborated to offer a free one of a kind “foraging” workshop Saturday, March 4th at 11-1 pm at the park, located at 3071 Lawrenceville Hwy. Amanda Jewel Floral + Design is an event company that designs weddings, events and workshops and is located at 5180 Lavista Road. All materials and tools will be included and each participant will gain more knowledge about Johns Homestead, forage fresh spring blooms/greenery and create a custom floral arrangement to bring home. All participants are invited to a gathering (with food and beverages) at the studio of AJF+D after the foraging workshop to get to know each other. Parking for the workshop is available next door to the Homestead at Rehoboth Baptist Church. *The workshop will take place outside so please dress accordingly.

What You Get

We will go over the mechanics behind building a fresh arrangement as well as walk you through foraging techniques. 

What You Need

We will provide the vessel as well as all other tools needed! Just bring yourself!
