Halloween in NOLA-Introducing dried florals

The best place to celebrate Halloween is in New Orleans so why not a styled shoot?! Yep, been there done that! So happy with the results and our fabulous collaboration of friends. Take a look....if you dare!!!!

I also debuted my dried florals. Below you will find an all dried bouquet that I made from drying all year long from past events. It was my goal to extend the life of florals beyond just the fresh floral because they do die. I consider my floral work, "art" and now I have new art to introduce to the world in dried florals. I thought this was the best shoot to launch them, don't you think?

P.S. I also made a piece of dried floral jewelry.

Greenhouse in the city

Way back in spring we came across a greenhouse in the middle of the city and of course Natalie and I were smitten.

Together we created something beautiful....

Donuts and magnolias

New Orleans is truly magical and every corner has another surprise. Did you know that Magnolias are the state flower of Louisiana? These gorgeous beauts paired beautifully with this loving couple and the character and charm this city offers. Take a look at the simplicity of this shoot and the love this couple has for one another.

P.S. I am now SO hungry for a donut, you?
